Bridge the Gap With Microsoft Dynamics Connector

When it comes to executing hand-offs between pre-sales pursuit teams and post-sales delivery teams, there is often a disconnect leading to incorrect client expectations and eventually a loss of clientele. In order to bridge this gap, Microsoft allows for a smooth integrated connection between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics AX. This integration will allow project sales and project delivery teams the ability to use role-oriented tools in order to collaborate effectively.

Here is an example of a scenario flow that will be enabled:

CRM AX HANDOFF Bridge the Gap With Microsoft Dynamics Connector

With CRM and AX integration, sales teams will be able to optimize projects by these steps:

  1. Project Creation and Submission : A sales professional can create a project quote in CRM, add items to the project and submit this project to AX. This will allow for project linkage between CRM and AX
  2. Project Quote Details: A project manager will be able to view the project quotation mentioned above and add details using the rich project planning and costing capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Once approved, the project quotation details are then synchronized to Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  3. Win Quote and Update Status: A sales professional will be able to activate and finalize the quotation process to won, lost or cancelled. This status is then synchronized back to Microsoft Dynamics AX so the project manager can take appropriate action.
  4. Assign Project: If the project quote is won, the project manager can then assign resources and add scheduling, which will synchronize back to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The sales professional can now keep track of this project and see its progression.

In order to achieve a scenario such as the one above you will need to access the existing Connector for Microsoft Dynamics. With this solution, you will be able to integrate all aspects of your sales team. For more information contact Logan Consulting, your Chicago based CRM consultants.
