Peak Portals Introduces Private Discussion Groups & KB Articles

Peak Portals 2.3 introduces one of our most requested features – “private” Discussion Groups.  Want to let your partners participate in a discussion that your customers can’t see? You can do that now in version 2.3, here’s how:

To make a Discussion Group private, assign it to one or more Portal Security Roles.  Only users assigned to these Portal Security Roles will be able to see and post to the Discussion Group in the portal.  For step-by-step instructions, please see this article on our portal.

Peak Portals 2.3 includes another oft-requested feature – “private” KB articles.  For instance, if you sell multiple products and only want to show KB articles related to those products to specific portal users, then this feature is for you.

To make a KB Article private, assign it to one of more Portal Security Roles.  Only users assigned to these Portal Security Roles will be able to find and view the KB Article in the portal.  For step-by-step instructions, please see this article on our portal.

Have a feature you want to see in Peak Portals? Submit your idea in our “Ideas” module found in our portal.

Enjoy these new features!
