Experlogix for CRM

March 9, 2016   CRM News and Info

As a certified Microsoft CRM Partner, Beringer aims to connect you with all of the extensions and customizations surrounding Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  For this post, I’d like to give the spotlight to Experlogix, a customizable CPQ interface for CRM.  Experlogix allows sales reps to configure products for a customer using rules, formulas, and your own product catalog to present an accurate quote in just a quick phone call.  Let’s dive in.

Experlogix uses a Configurator engine where you can set specifications for how your business operates when designing a quote.  A set of rules and formulas can help your sales rep churn out an accurate quote when interacting with a potential customer.

In a new Quote/Order/Opportunity, click the Configure button once the record is saved with a Price List.

This will open the Web Configurator where you can start selecting Products to build out your Quote.

2 Experlogix for CRM

When setting up Experlogix, you organize your Products into Series and Models.  These abstractions can be used to design the flow of the Quote Creation process as well as create rules and formulas for verification.

You can customize your selection as well using features outlined in the set up process.

Experlogix produces custom alerts based on your Rules to inform the Sales Rep when your Configuration needs to be changed.  The alerts can be suggested or mandatory.

Once you’ve completed your Configuration and saved it, your Quote will be updated with all the products selected during the process.

You also have the ability to compare configurations side by side.  If you duplicate your configuration, you can review the differences between changes in two separate models or options.

The fresh new interface allows for a more interactive experience with CRM for building quotes.  Also the ability to make rules that alert end users when changes are made helps create a very accurate estimate for customers.  If your organization has been looking for a streamlined approached for constructing orders, this is the CRM extension for you!
