How to Become America’s Augment Partner of the Year? It’s Elementary, My Dear Watson!

GenwarePartnerTIBCONOWChicago 696x392 How to Become America’s Augment Partner of the Year? It’s Elementary, My Dear Watson!

As a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional hero, I never thought I would meet the real Sherlock Holmes. That is until the day I was visiting the CIO of one of Mexico’s leading businesses where I was joined by Sherlock Holmes, the founding owner and President of Genware Computer Systems, winner of the 2019 TIBCO Americas Augment Partner of the Year.

I found the real Sherlock was just as compelling as the fictional one. But see for yourself in this blog where Sherlock and I discuss his business, his client successes, and his partnership with TIBCO.

Sherlock, congratulations on winning America’s Augment Partner of the Year.  Please tell us about Genware.

“As a systems integrator for TIBCO, Genware Computer Systems, we help our clients make better business decisions with intuitive data visualization, predictive analytics, report and dashboard generation, and real-time analytics to create powerful connectivity with analytical insights.  We also help them overcome their data challenges that might stand in the way of their analytics success. We do this by providing technologies and services optimized for specific client needs across the US and Latin America, as well as the UK and South Africa.”

Please describe your relationship with TIBCO.

“Genware is an Elite TIBCO Partner and a multi-year partner-of-the-year award winner. We work with TIBCO’s complete advanced analytics suite including TIBCO Spotfire®, TIBCO® Streaming, TIBCO® Data Science, TIBCO® Data Virtualization, TIBCO EBX™, and TIBCO ComputeDB™. We also assist our clients to successfully leverage the TIBCO Cloud™Integration platform. It’s a great relationship that is a win for Genware, a win for TIBCO, and most importantly a win for our clients.”

How does your relationship with TIBCO add value for your clients?

“Together with TIBCO, our goal is to help our clients achieve significant business value to better engage with their customers, optimize their operations, bring new products to market, and more. We believe advanced analytics is a fast path to these outcomes.

“Seeing this value and accelerating client interest, several years ago we sought an advanced analytics technology partner who we could team with to deliver the outcomes demand. We evaluated top Gartner Magic Quadrant vendors, wisely chose TIBCO, and started building our partnership.

“We provide the analytic strategy and implementation services that support TIBCO product adoption. Together we form a unified team that ensures client success.”

You do a lot of work TIBCO Data Virtualization.  Tell us about that.

“We have long been fans of data virtualization as it lets our clients get the data they need to fuel their analytics without the lengthy ETL and data warehouse development cycle. We had already partnered with Cisco in this area and were pleased when TIBCO acquired the product and team.

“Genware has done a wide range of data virtualization projects. These include the less complex, such as merging multiple XLS sheets and data feeds, to much more enterprise scale where data is sourced from large ERP systems such as SAP and integrated with various external sources, providing end users easier access to information and taking away the complexity of data sourcing and integration.”

What other TIBCO products are proving important to your clients lately?

“We are doing a lot of work to assist our clients to go to the next step beyond advanced analytics, into AI and real-time actions. For example, we have been helping them use TIBCO® Data Science to better identify key events critical to their business. Using AI algorithms and models within a low code environment, intelligent solutions rapidly explore the data and identify opportunities, such as the next best action, and then implement these actions automatically. This closed-loop approach uses products across TIBCO’s connect, augment, and unify portfolios.”

Looking ahead, where do you see your TIBCO partnership going?

“Our future together is bright. Genware will continue to assist clients with the strategies and implementations they need to digitally transform their businesses. To get there, we will continue to grow our TIBCO partnership so our clients can take advantage of TIBCO’s innovative technology.”

The Winning Combination: TIBCO & TIBCO Partners
