When You Should—and Shouldn’t—Use Parse JSON Step | Power Automate and Dynamics 365 CRM

October 11, 2020   CRM News and Info

When you’re working with data, not only do you need it quickly, but you also need it in a readable format, especially when you’re working with your CRM system. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is one way you can get data faster and in a more readable format with little to no coding experience.

JSON is a lightweight data-interchange format that is very readable and easy to create. This format is what allows an API to communicate with various systems, like Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Dynamics 365 Business Central systems. When you Parse JSON, you’re interpreting that data with the specific language you’re currently using. An example of Parse JSON in use is when you take the raw JSON output data from Power Automate and transform it into values. The values can then be used as content in a dynamic flow.

There are many benefits to using the Parse JSOn action. In addition to making the flow easier and more convenient, it requires little coding experience. You can also use your JSON knowledge to help you integrate various Microsoft Systems like Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources and Customer Service. Finally, the objects you create in JSON match other code objects so if you’re looking to expand in other systems, this knowledge can help make it easier.

However, there are some limitations to using Parse JSON and certain situations when you wouldn’t want to use it.

Situations that Don’t Call for Parse JSON

If you’re using JSON within Power Automate, it’s important to be aware that the system has a usage limit. Currently, Power Automate has a limit of 5,000 API requests. When reviewing the licensing information of the system, it specifies that this doesn’t mean that the JSON flow can run 5,000 times because the system considers every flow as an API request. Rather, every flow has five actions which produces 1,000 runs per day on the per user plan. With the per flow plan, that limit is increased to 15,000 API requests every day.

Every time you request an HTTP action along with a Parse JSON action, you’re doubling the number of API requests and actually create more than you need. As of today, Microsoft has not specified about whether JSON variables or data operations are also included in the API request limit. However, for the purposes of this article, we will assume that they are.

You can view the steps on how to get a flow to run without the Parse JSON steps here. You’ll also find additional examples below.

How to Reference a Field Using the Parse JSON Action

If you’re not using the Parse JSON action and you want to reference a field, you would need to use expressions to reference a field located in the output of your HTTP request actions. If you want to refer to a single value from one output rather than an array, you’d have to use the outputs () function. You’d put the name of the action between these parentheses. The value path is specified between square brackets.

For example:

Syntax: outputs(Action_Name’)?[‘field’]

Action: Get Books API request https://www.googleapis.com/books/v1/volumes?q=isbn: ‘9780143126560’

Return body (simplified):

{

“kind”: “books#volumes”,

“totalItems”: 1536

}

If you want the total number of items, you’d use this format: outputs(‘Get_Books’)?[‘totalItems’]

JSON can also go a level deeper by simply separating the value references with a forward slash, e.g. [‘totalItems/field’].

To get data as an array, you need to use the ‘apply to each’ action, which changes the format of the data. With this action, you just need to reference either the JSON field that is the array and the body of the request. Here’s an example:

Action Get Books API request: https://www.googleapis.com/books/v1/volumes?q=isbn: ‘9780143126560’

Return body (simplified):

{

“kind”: “books#volumes”,

“totalItems”: 1536,

“items”: [

{

“kind”: “books#volume”,

“id”: “ebNDDwAAQBAJ”

},

{

“kind”: “books#volume”,

“id”: “WXcHwzaUd4MC”

} ]

}

Finally, if you want to get the field kind, you’ll want to first use the ‘apply to each’ action: outputs(‘Get_Books’)?[‘items’]. Next, you’ll want to use this to return the specific kind for each item in the array: items(‘Apply_to_each’)?[‘kind’]. The specific name that goes inside the items function is the name of the ‘apply to each’ step.

Remember to replace the action name with your own if you’re using these examples in your own system.

Waymo resumes limited autonomous driving testing in Phoenix in first step back to normalcy

Waymo resumes limited autonomous driving testing in Phoenix in first step back to normalcy

Nearly two months after announcing it would halt operations around the country in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Waymo today said it will begin limited driving tests in the Metro Phoenix area starting on May 11. The Alphabet-backed autonomous vehicle startup described this as the first part of a “tiered approach” to gradually relaunch operations with its fleet, with commercial service to follow only after the health and safety of riders can be ensured.

That’s all to say that Waymo’s eponymous Waymo One ride-hailing service, which was put on pause in late March, won’t resume pickups and dropoffs just yet. A spokesperson told VentureBeat that Waymo plans to start accepting riders again in the “coming weeks.” To be clear, the phase of redeployment detailed today only involves safety and test drivers, as well as other employees and contractors working out of Waymo’s facilities.

Waymo says that it is following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state, and local authorities as its operations resume, redesigning its facilities to respect social distancing guidelines and spacing out work areas by the recommended six feet. The company has also redefined the use of common areas and limited the maximum capacity for various spaces, and it has created trainings for employees around new safety standards and how to work and move around its facilities.

In line with Arizona guidance, Waymo employees will wear face masks in facilities or vehicles excepting instances where a person is driving alone. The company also says it has deep cleaned its buildings and that it will continue to conduct multiple daily cleanings of its vehicles in partnership with AutoNation. Lastly, Waymo says it is working with an occupational healthcare provider to screen all people before they enter its facilities.

VB Transform 2020 Online – July 15-17: Join leading AI executives at the AI event of the year. Register today and save 30% off digital access passes.

In the near future, Waymo exects to begin driving again in other cities, including San Francisco, Detroit, and Los Angeles. “We’re taking a thoughtful and measured approach towards bringing our driving operations back on the road,” wrote the company in a blog post. “Resumption of our driving operations in these locations will similarly be guided by ensuring the safety and health of our team in line with … [federal and state] guidance.”

In addition to Waymo, Uber, GM-backed Cruise, Aurora, Argo AI, and Pony.ai were are among the companies that suspended their driverless vehicle programs in the hopes of limiting contact between drivers and riders. In the interim, some, like Pony.ai and Cruise, pivoted to autonomous delivery. Others leaned heavily on simulation to continue development even as their fleets were grounded.

Taking it one Step Further with Digital Seals with Blockchain Technology

March 30, 2020   Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Let’s pick up the story of Noah, a CRM consultant, that implemented an XRM solution with an IIOT integration for Oliver Smith, production manager at a manufacturing facility.

As Oliver’s company works with a variety of sensors and production machines, those were used as a place to collect data. Noah recommended Connect Bridge as the integration platform to get the data into the XRM system that he set up. Initially done as a Proof of Concept, this project was then further developed, and it quickly became a full-blown system.

So currently we have:

  • Data coming from multiple sensors and production machines
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a dashboard showing that data
  • Connect Bridge to make the integration of the above possible

nomaintenance noworries isometric.png.pagespeed.ce.B4ZbAdklMV Taking it one Step Further with Digital Seals with Blockchain Technology

Houston, we have a problem!

Oliver can now access machine reports from his new dashboard. It is good to have them on hand to provide to internal and external auditors. He has the production process documented in his dashboard, and he is confident about machine performance. Besides, if a customer has a complaint, he can check the machine reports referring to a specific date.

But if the machine reports are all that important… how about security?

Can he trust the data on his own machine reports?

Can he be sure they have not been tampered with?

Oliver again turns to Noah, with these data integrity issues on his mind.

Becoming the Right Man for the Job

Fortunately, Noah has a good knowledge of the latest technology. He knows that it is now possible to use Blockchain technology for ensuring data integrity.

Nonetheless, he is not a Blockchain specialist. His “trick” is to use CB Digital Seal with Blockchain Technology from Connecting Software.

CB Digital Seal is integrated into the software that is already in use, like SharePoint. Noah has even watched a demo of CB Digital Seal for SharePoint.

He can see the application of this in Oliver’s project. He sees he can smoothly integrate it with the XRM system that was developed.

My Sensitive Information Going to the Blockchain?

Before the project starts, however, Oliver still has one concern. He is worried when he hears that the project uses Blockchain. He likes the idea of using state-of-the-art technology, but he does not like the idea of having his machine reports copied or sent outside his network. It is sensitive information, after all.

Noah reassures him that is not the case: only a digital fingerprint of each sealed file leaves the network, never the file itself. The file always remains within the safety of their original environment.

Going Live with CB Digital Seal with Blockchain Technology

With that concern covered, the project launches. It goes live in a matter of weeks. Plus, it is actually finished at a fraction of the cost Oliver had anticipated when he heard about a technology that was so “fancy”.

He is also happy that using this technology does not mean the transaction cost is higher than with others. Each transaction cost is, in fact, less than 1 cent.

He chose to have all the machine reports sealed as they enter the system. New reports are sealed right after they are created. Old reports were gradually sealed after deployment so that all relevant documents and files are now sealed.

This gives him peace of mind, and it also means that he and all other end-users who work with the software just keep on working as usual. No interaction with the system is necessary unless you want to verify the seal of a specific report.

Oliver can now prove no one tampered with a machine report from the moment it was sealed. He has also found that the digital seals are timestamped. He knows that will be essential, for example, when an audit comes.

Takeaway

For Oliver, our production manager, his favorite thing about this project is that he can now prove every step of the manufacturing process with sealed machine reports. He can also obtain 100% tamper-proof evidence about machine performance. All this in a project that was up and running quickly.

Noah, our consultant, was pleased to be able to provide a Blockchain solution without having to become a Blockchain specialist. What’s more, he was not only able to provide a solution, but he was able to do it much faster than if he had hired a company specializing in the area to build everything from scratch.

Staying one step ahead of the competition with XRM and IIoT

March 13, 2020   CRM News and Info

It is not easy to maintain that edge and stay one step ahead of the competition.

This is the story of Noah Walker, a CRM consultant, that wanted to find a way to help Oliver Smith, production manager at a manufacturing facility, stay ahead of his competition.

xNoah Walker Consultant.png.pagespeed.ic.0tVrjiHkrO Staying one step ahead of the competition with XRM and IIoT xOliver Smith Production Manager.png.pagespeed.ic.4Im1IZrNzs Staying one step ahead of the competition with XRM and IIoT

Oliver initially approached Noah because he knew of his excellent track record with CRM implementations that were a bit out of your standard CRM implementation.

He was hoping Noah would be able to handle one of his main requirements: getting info from specific sensors and production machines in real-time. He wanted this info from the machines to be part of his dashboard.

Being in a decision-making position, he wanted to have a real-time dashboard for effortless remote monitoring. That would then allow for predictive maintenance and production planning.

“OK“, said Noah, “I think we can implement an XRM solution with an IIOT integration“.

What is XRM?

Oliver had not heard of XRM before, so the first question that popped to his mind was “XRM? Don’t you mean CRM?” Noah explained how the concepts are related, but the X stands for endless possibilities: “It is not complicated – XRM is ‘anything’ relationship management“.

“Let’s say you take Dynamics 365 and use it as a platform for building an XRM system“, he further explained.

“This is something I do it on a regular basis and you do get a solid base on which you can build line-of-business (LOB) solutions. Everything can be customized to meet the organization’s needs and integrate seamlessly with other critical systems.“.

XRM challenges

Getting these customizations and integrations off the ground involves careful planning and requirements analysis and even more careful follow-up during project execution. You don’t the project to turn into a never-ending project and the X to stand for “nothing” relationship management!

XRM projects vary quite a bit depending on what kind of X you are working for, but there is one thing in common: data needs to be collected, analyzed, stored, retrieved and acted upon, seamlessly.

nomaintenance noworries isometric.png.pagespeed.ce.B4ZbAdklMV Staying one step ahead of the competition with XRM and IIoT

As Oliver’s company works with a variety of sensors and production machines, then that is a great place to collect data. For Noah, who will be implementing the project, though, including the data from the sensors is not a trivial requirement. He wants to include this in the project without making it super expensive and lengthy.

Faster and Far More Affordable XRM and IIoT Projects

This is where Connect Bridge comes in for Noah. Connect Bridge is an integration platform that has 400+ pre-built connectors, and he knew about it from other integration projects. He knows that by using these connectors allows the developers not to work with the API of what they are connecting to. That saves a lot of time and money.

video thumb animation connect bridge.png.pagespeed.ce.dnsB4ts5BB Staying one step ahead of the competition with XRM and IIoT

Developers complete Connect Bridge projects 2 to 10 times faster than projects that use the API directly. The more complex the requirements are, the bigger the time savings are. Of course, time is money, so that means cost savings as well.

Connecting Software launched the Connect Bridge integration platform 10 years ago, and Noah finds it reassuring that companies worldwide use it. Noah doesn’t know about it, but actually Connecting Software itself also uses Connect Bridge. All Connecting Software market-leader products were built using Connect Bridge.

Getting a Proof of Concept running for the project

To show Oliver what he could do with this tool, Noah asked for a free trial of Connect Bridge with the Dynamics 365 and the OPC UA connectors activated.

As soon as he got his trial license, Noah follows the tried and true process for Connect Bridge projects:

  1. Install Connect Bridge
  2. Activate license
  3. Configure an account for each of the connectors (Dynamics 365 and the OPC UA in this case)
  4. Using Connect Bridge Management Studio, run test queries and find which of the pre-built stored procedures you can use for the project
  5. Get all he got into his code. Noah is using C#, but he actually could use whatever programming language he fancied: as long as it supports connecting to a database via ODBC, JDBC or Web services, it automatically supports Connect Bridge.

Of course, that at a Proof of Concept stage, he does not go in too deep. The idea is just to show Oliver how the XRM and IIoT integration would work.

Noah knows he can simply take it from there when they move on to the actual implementation of the project: his initial work will not be lost.

Takeaway

For Oliver, our production manager, the greatest thing about this project was that it fit the requirements flawlessly. Moreover, the project it was up and running quickly. He was also happy to know that Connect Bridge will handle all the future upgrades – the forward compatibility warranty is a very welcome benefit.

For Noah, our consultant, it was good to have Connect Bridge give him a head start in this XRM and IIoT integration project. He noticed how his code was much more straightforward and less error-prone.

Would you like to see if Connect Bridge is a good match for your integration needs?

Why don’t you talk to our experts? They will be glad to provide you with a free demo or answer any questions you might have.

Why MDM is the First Step Toward Business Reinvention

February 25, 2020   TIBCO Spotfire

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Managing critical data across the enterprise is an essential step toward business reinvention. That’s why organizations are increasingly turning to master data management (MDM) to solve their siloed data problem and provide a single, trusted view of their data. By providing one trusted place to go for information, MDM enables businesses to make better decisions and improve overall performance.

If you’re looking to adopt an MDM solution, the Constellation ShortList™ is a good place to start narrowing your search. This report is often helpful to organizations when evaluating solutions within technology market categories.

We’re excited to announce that TIBCO EBX™ has been added to the Constellation ShortList for Master Data Management Solutions for the third consecutive time. EBX™ is one of only seven solutions recognized for 2020. For TIBCO, we see the report as a further indication of EBX’s momentum in the MDM market. As a single solution to help organizations govern, manage, and consume all their shared data assets, EBX is proud to meet the threshold criteria outlined below.

For Master Data Management (MDM), this year’s threshold criteria included:

  • Information integration
  • Data quality
  • Data governance
  • Multidomain (i.e., customer, product, supplier, reference data, sites, location)
  • Multiple deployment models: on-premises, in the cloud, hybrid or multi-cloud
  • Industry-specific templates and accelerators
  • Self-service business rules
  • Support for data privacy rules and regulations
  • Customer references

According to Doug Henschen, V.P. and Principal Analyst of Constellation Research, the threshold criteria are determined by capabilities that customers and partners deem critical for that technology space. Sisense for Cloud Data Teams: a Step Forward for Builders Everywhere

January 11, 2020   Sisense

Sisense News is your home for corporate announcements, new Sisense features, product innovation, and everything we roll out to empower our users to get the most out of their data.

A vision for builders

Nearly eight years ago, I joined my friend and Periscope Data co-founder Tom O’Neill (now Sisense Chief Cloud Officer) on a journey to build an advanced analytics platform that empowered data teams to build amazing new things. Last May, that journey took a big leap forward with the decision to merge Periscope Data and Sisense. In the time since that announcement, our team has been working extremely hard to combine technologies, customer bases, and internal operations into a single organization that achieves the goal we set out to accomplish in 2012.

Recently, that merger matured to a point where we felt it necessary to change the way we talk about the products. Internally, we were no longer keeping Periscope Data and Sisense separate products in our long-term vision and we wanted to make the external conversations we were having consistent. Rather than building two separate data analytics platforms for two separate parts of the overall data analysis process, we are focusing on building a single data platform with tools optimized for every user.

To reinforce that cohesion, we renamed Periscope Data as Sisense for Cloud Data Teams. When we began setting important checkpoints for the progress of this merger, this change was always an important milestone. I’m proud to be able to say that we’ve officially achieved it.

pd blog banner new world data teams min 770x250 Sisense for Cloud Data Teams: a Step Forward for Builders Everywhere

Building a shared culture

To this point, the merger has been a success story. Part of that success is due to our incredible customer base, which has been eager to listen to the shared vision and work with us to make it a reality. The truth is that building an ambitious product like this requires equally ambitious customers who can be relied on to take our data analytics platform to new heights and provide feedback along the way. It is neither a nicety nor an oversimplification to say that we could not have done this without the brilliant data professionals who use Sisense every day.

At this time last year, Periscope Data and Sisense both had strong company cultures. Merging them together required shared focus and developing a new culture around that commonality. For us, that common goal was a dedication to customers. Sisense for Cloud Data Teams is a testament to how well the new culture has jelled around servicing our combined customer base.

While the two original products focused on different users and unique parts of the data analysis process, the end-to-end platform available today is the result of a shared passion for empowering customers to create value from data. There’s a lot of enthusiasm about the data platform we are building and how it will be used to help out customers move their organizations forward.

Rewarding our internal builders

Another big pillar of the culture at Sisense is a commitment to employee success. Independently, both Sisense and Periscope Data had made several “best places to work” lists before the merger, which is illustrative of the priority given to employee satisfaction. There’s no pressure to produce perfect results, we’ve built an atmosphere that encourages continual experimentation and rewards those who help others. We set high standards for our work, give employees the resources they need to hit their goals, and trust that they’ll succeed.

That attitude is a huge reason why Sisense for Cloud Data Teams is available today and why future innovations at Sisense will set new industry standards for data platform possibilities. Renaming a product is not a simple process. It’s one that takes cooperation from all parts of the organization.

While the announcement of Sisense for Cloud Data Teams is a big reason to celebrate, there’s an understanding around the company that we’re not just building a product, we’re building a culture. The success of one goes hand-in-hand with the success of the other.

Building for the future

The announcement of Sisense for Cloud Data Teams is a milestone commemorating our dedication to building tools for advanced data professionals. It’s an industry-leading tool that already plays a crucial role in the way the most advanced companies are analyzing data. The success of that product so far is the result of individual people — both customers and employees — who share a vision for the possibilities of data and work to achieve it.

Sisense for Cloud Data Teams is also the next step forward in the journey to empower data teams. It removes existing workflow barriers between data professionals and the rest of their teams, streamlining the path from actions to insights. This tool is a leap ahead for modern data teams. The unified team Sisense and Persicope Data tea is building something truly incredible.

Software Selection a Critical Step for Growing Life Sciences Businesses

November 25, 2019   NetSuite
gettyimages 1062184890 Software Selection a Critical Step for Growing Life Sciences Businesses

Posted by John Goode, Senior Director, Channel Marketing

With a solid, cloud-based technology infrastructure life sciences companies can grow from pre-revenue to commercialization in a fast, painless manner.

Each year, FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) approves a wide range of new drugs and biological products. In 2018 alone, the CDER approved 59 new drugs and is on track to do the same this year: As of late-May, CDER had already approved 12 new drugs (versus 14 at the same time last year).

Once approved, the early-stage life science companies that develop these drugs must make the transition from Excel spreadsheets to full-blown technology systems pretty quickly. The rate of growth can be downright alarming, particularly for the scientists and engineers who brought the new drugs to life.

The problem is that many of these companies launched with technology infrastructures that lag well behind their company goals—a reality that becomes obvious as life sciences firms move from Phase I clinical trials to Phases II and III. Learn more about this transition in “Supporting Life Sciences Companies from Startup to Commercialization.”

Because business software was never a core focus for these firms, compromises and bottlenecks start to interfere with their organizational missions. In fact, most of these life science organizations can’t perform any of the following with their existing technology infrastructures:

• Track and easily add and consolidate additional legal entities

• Manage multiple sources of company information (different systems, Excel spreadsheets, etc.)

• Scale up existing manual processes

• Implement financial controls

• Prepare for equity events/SOX controls

• Run efficient and controlled purchasing processes

• Generate accurate reporting for multi-national, multi-company, SEC reporting

• Handle program/project management

Using the right software platform, these pre-revenue organizations can design, configure and manage the roles, controls and workflows the business needs—all without having to onboard more finance professionals or IT managers. Sikich’s SuiteSuccess for Life Sciences built on NetSuite solves these and other problems with ease.

Wanted: A Solid Support Structure

Early-stage life science companies must make the transition from spreadsheets to complete technology systems as quickly as possible. Operating in an industry focused on running lean, these organizations need to get up and running quickly.

For this and other reasons, outsourcing technology implementation and management to Sikich is an exciting proposition for enterprises that want to fully leverage the cloud, where there’s no IT infrastructure to manage.

By creating and implementing standardized integrations between NetSuite and many popular procurement tools, including Prendio, Coupa, Jaggaer, Lab Cloud, and PunchOut2Go, Sikich gives life sciences companies the tools they need to succeed.

Perhaps more importantly, Sikich provides these services quickly and affordably, requiring little or no additional infrastructure or IT investment on the company’s part. That’s because NetSuite can deliver additional functionality as life science firms mature and require new software capabilities. Here’s the breakdown across different stages of growth:

  • Early stage/startup: Segmented reporting, G/L and AP plus integrated purchasing, procurement, electronic payments and multi-entity management
  • Growth stage: Fixed Assets, Payroll, Advanced Reporting and System Auditing for IPO
  • Production phase: Vendor Contract Management, Forecasting and Planning
  • Commercialization: Track revenue, accounts receivable and capture costs

Getting Up and Running, and Staying There

Tightly focused on establishing their digital strategies and running quickly, young life sciences firms also want tools that will scale up along with them as they move through the various maturation stages—something that NetSuite is well known for.

“These folks want to be able to just do their jobs and not worry about what’s going on behind the scenes, and how their companies are being run on the backend,” said Jim Hickey, a partner with Sikich’s technology practice. “We know that implementing ERP can be disrupting for a business, and we reduce that disruption with NetSuite, the de facto solution for the life sciences industry.”

Take a Step Against Pollution

November 6, 2019   Humor

Take a Step against Pollution Take a Step Against Pollution

What is Pollution

A simple introduction to Pollution is “Every substance causes damage to Nature is Pollution”.

How many types of Pollution

There are three main types of Pollution such as:

  1. Air Pollution.
  2. Water Pollution.
  3. Soil Pollution.

These basic pollution types have a very deep connection with the damages to living organisms. And it has a very simple logic that, Air we use to breathe in. The water we use to drink and Soil we use to grow food for ourselves.

So these are the basic sources of our lives to live in this world but unfortunately, mankind has a lead role in environmental damage and still continues to do the same. Yet, these Nature Gifts are ruins so brutally by humans.

Main Causes of Pollution and Effects

Nature is a very fine and pure gift to humanity and it has nothing to do with the pollution. Pollution is basically originated from Human Civilization. As there were no proper waste dumping solutions. So there were pile clumps from ancient times as evidence of pollution due to human civilization.

 Take a Step Against Pollution

Pollution was not considered as a thinkable issue till mid of the 20th century. After the 20th century, pollution has gained human attention and it instantly becomes an actionable issue to the world. You can easily assume the cause of an uncontrollable pollution monster the world is dealing with if you notice the sharp increase of population and human development.

You can not deny the bad impact of wars on the environment. The war causes massive production of general and chemical weapons, bombs and other war instruments which affects the environment badly but the results were even more destructive when they were used and completely demolished the nature in their surroundings.

Causes and Effects of Air Pollution

Every particle which harms the structure of Natural Air caused Air Pollution. Air is a precious gift of nature for living organisms to breathe clean and keeps the body healthy. But unfortunately, we forgot the importance of this priceless gift and treated it very roughly in the charm of the astonishing development of a modern world full of facilities and luxurious lifestyle.

Sources of Air Pollution

  1. We have cut down the forests producing fresh oxygen and filter contaminated air.
  2. Developed chains of industry releasing toxic clouds through their chimneys to the air.
  3. We have made vehicles releasing poisonous smoke through their silencers.
  4. We have made chemical weapons to strengthen the defense but weaken nature.

Sadly, we preferred our interests over a clean world to breathe in.

So overall, we mankind held responsible for all the destruction to nature and now it becomes our responsibility to fix this. We need to redirect our lifestyles to make this world and clean and healthy for upcoming generations.

 Take a Step Against Pollution

We are living in the age of technology and we need to use it in the right way to clean this mess spread by us. Fortunately, we have invented solutions or alternative sources to prevent air pollution but could not mold the world to use those replacements for a clean environment.

Solutions and Prevention of Air Pollution

  1. Should convert to possible availabilities accordingly to put a brake on forest cuttings.
  2. We should install smoke filtration plants in our industries to keep the air clean.
  3. We should jump to electric means of transportation.
  4. Should promote peace in the world to avoid destructive wars for the sake of both, clean nature and a healthy humanity.

Causes and Effects of Water Pollution

Every particle which contaminates the natural structure of Pure Water caused Water Pollution. Again mankind held responsible for water contamination for almost the same reasons mentioned above.

Sources of Water Pollution

  1. We polluted the water to route domestic sewerages to the ponds of fresh water.
  2. Contaminated fresh water hoses to dump industrial waste in it.
  3. We are even responsible for toxic rain due to the existence of Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide in the air and these substances polluted rainwater.
  4. Mankind becomes evil to its nature by greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide which wraps the atmosphere causes Global Warming.

A polluted environment not just harms nature but also left a deep impact on the mood of living organisms and they have to migrate to a comparatively healthy environment for better living. Everybody wants to live in a clean environment but nobody takes serious steps to a healthy world. There is nothing in this world we can not do and we should take a stand against water pollution and have to undo this brutal act to save humanity.

 Take a Step Against Pollution

Solutions and Prevention of Water Pollution

  1. We should not pour cooking or any other fat, grease, oil, household chemicals. Cleaning agents or any kind of pills or tablets to your sewerages.
  2. Avoid using your toilets as waste bins to pour tissues, wrappers, dust clothes or other paper products.
  3. Industries should install wastewater process plants to detoxicate their waste for lakes, streams or water hoses inside or outside the earth.
  4. Adopting clean energy alternatives is a healthy way to prevent greenhouse effects. Hybrid vehicles and green energy sources are quite helpful to reduce global warming.

Causes and Effects of Soil Pollution

Soil Pollution defined as any pollutant particles pesticides water stocks down or on the earth. The earth is not just our home but countless bacterial and microscopic living organisms. Which is essential to maintain a balanced life on earth. But sadly we are being so selfish to other creatures of this world.

Sources of Soil Pollution

  1. We use pest-controlling chemicals or inorganic nitrogen fertilizers to exceed production from agricultural fields. Which causes many ecological backlashes, also known as Agrochemical Pollution.
  2. We badly contaminate the soil with improper disposal methods of solid waste such as plastics and electrical goods.
  3. The improper disposal method of chemical wastes from several types of industries leads to acidification of soil.
  4. Poor irrigation systems and lack of crop rotation also cause damage to the performance of soil.

“Every Action has an Equal Reverse Reaction”. We have damaged our soil so badly. We can not save from the reverse or negative impacts, except giving the cure to land. Affected our crops and degraded their quality by excessive use of inorganic nitrogen fertilizers. Living and playing in contaminated soil lead to adverse skin diseases.

 Take a Step Against Pollution

Leaking or damaged channels in the irrigation system also cause damage to the soil like excess of watering and improper maintenance of canals and intense farming schedule gradually decreases soil quality over time and caused degradation of land.

Solutions and Prevention of Soil Pollution

  1. We may prevent harmful contaminants from the earth by adopting healthy and organic farming techniques.
  2. Should properly recycle industrial waste before disposing of it.
  3. We should arrange awareness and education campaigns for the community.
  4. We should maintain our irrigation and sewerage system properly to avoid soil contamination.

Transparency is Vital Step for Restaurants in Addressing Food Allergens

gettyimages 944229020 Transparency is Vital Step for Restaurants in Addressing Food Allergens

Posted by Kevin Lentz, NetSuite Product Manager, Restaurant & Hospitality

Eating out should be a relaxing experience where guests sit back, order freely and enjoy their meal. For those with food allergies, though, it is rarely quite that carefree. For the estimated 15 million U.S. consumers with a food allergy, a restaurant can prove to be a very challenging environment. A survey conducted at the 2007 Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network conference found that 34% of the 294 respondents had experienced at least one food allergic reaction in a restaurant. A different study revealed that nearly half of fatal food allergic reactions over a 13-year period were caused by food from a restaurant or other food service establishment.

And the stakes are high for the restaurant. If you mishandle the situation, your best case is a ruined evening out and a lost customer, but your worst case could be dire. With food allergic reactions accounting for as many as 30,000 ER visits each year and as many as 200 deaths, it’s important to get your allergy preparations right.

So far, only four states (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Michigan, Virginia) and a handful of cities have enacted legislation concerning allergen safety in restaurants. So how can a restaurant proactively serve this segment? In a word: transparency.

Anything you can do to shed light on your prep process and ingredient lists will be helpful. This consumer segment is intensely scrutinous and inquisitive, and they have to be. So have the information as readily available as possible. That may be as simple as ensuring waitstaff are familiar with company-approved answers to questions, or you may choose to go further.

For instance, are you able to provide a list of each ingredient for each of your dishes, and are you able to confirm the source and preparation methods for each of your ingredients? Some restaurants are able to provide the actual labels with clear allergen statements to their patrons upon request. Consider whether you are able to do this at the time of ordering or ahead of time when the guest is researching dining options.

Consider also how food is prepared in your kitchen. Do you maintain a separate location to prepare allergy-free dishes? Be sure you can answer questions around cleaning and cross-contamination, as well. What other dishes are prepared there? How often is it cleaned? Ready access to this information will help put allergen-aware guests at ease.

Perhaps most important is staff training. Staff should be regularly trained for food allergen safety and allergen awareness, and consistently reminded of safe food handling procedures. No amount of process will keep guests safe if it does not become a way of doing business. This is also a good time mention that you should research your state’s regulations in terms of staff training, supplemental allergen awareness training, and any signage required to maintain compliance.

With an estimated 10% of the population directly affected by a food allergy, it’s important that the restaurateur does everything possible to properly and safely serve this segment. Often, that means empowering your staff and your customer. Empower your staff with adequate training and awareness so they can assist the guest appropriately and empower your allergy-aware guests with whatever information that they may need to sit back order freely and enjoy their meal.

Everyone will be better for it.

Jamie Foxx One Step Closer To Making Mike Tyson Biopic!

May 2, 2019   Humor
JamieFoxx Jamie Foxx One Step Closer To Making Mike Tyson Biopic!

Jamie Foxx better start bulking up because he’s going to have to put on weight to become Iron Mike Tyson for an upcoming biopic.

The Oscar-winning actor shared a picture of himself this week during a meeting with Mike Tyson, and said, “Thank u for the trust… one step closer.”

For years, stirrings of a biopic about the boxer’s career has been in the works and the boxer has made it known he wanted Foxx to be the one to play him.

Martin Scorsese has also been rumored to be tied to the project, but the director has not confirmed those reports.

The fact Foxx and Tyson are publicly discussing the project definitely adds fuel to the fire that an official announcement could be made soon.

The former heavyweight champ also recently appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” and said the movie is going to be “wild.”
